This is my animation, in this frame is the background pink with black text and a tiny man moving. But this is all I can see. What do I do? I tried to render it but it somehow the video only turns out to be a black box and the video is only a couple of seconds.

You have set every layer as an adjustment layer so none of the contents of the layers will render. You will only get the effects, but there are no layers below the adjustment layers, so no pixels will be rendered.

Hi Josefine,

Welcome to the community and sorry for your issue. Please share the following details:

  • What's the exact version of After Effects you're using:
  • What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?
  • Does it happen with all the projects? What happens if you create a new project and add a Solid to it?

Please try disabling Hardware Accelerated Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels in After Effects Preferences > Display.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Nishu

Hi! Thank you so much!

I am using the lastest version of After effect.

I am not this hightech so sorry if I am misunderstanding some of your questions.

My Os vderios is mcaOs Monterey version 12.3.1

The Ram I have free on my computer is 39.77 GB

So sorry if this is not what GPU is but my Graphichs on my computer is

Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB

And the prosessor is

1,6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5

This is the first time it happenede.

It does not happen with any other project only this one.

And when I made a new project does it work like a charm.

Thank you so much for helping me!

Kind wishes,

Josefine

Thanks for the details, Josefine. You provided all the details I asked.

Did you try disabling Hardware Accelerated Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels as mentioned above?

Did you use any effects in the project? In which version of After Effects, this project was created?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Nishu
