After Effects 17.7 - Crash at launch - ScriptUI Panels broken

After installing the upgrade the application consistently crashed at launch generating an error message related to scripts. One by one I started removing the scripts from the ScriptUI Panels directory but after about 5 crashes one after the other, I stopped.

 

There's clearly an issue with the new version that's breaking the majority if not all of them and I don't have the time or patience to be emptying out the folder one at a time.

 

Downgraded.

Error screens attached.

Sorry for your issue.

Are these third-party scripts? If so, it's possible that the scripts are not completely supported by the latest version of After Effects. Please try reinstalling After Effects.
