After Effects 18.0.0 After Effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {no current context}
I'm getting an error when I open After Effects 18.0.0 on macOS 11.6.2:
After Effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {no current context}
When opening After Effects. It is a slight improvement on the error I had been getting:
Internal verification failure, sorry! Resource fork usage has been deprecated
But only because the "Resource fork usage has been deprecated" error came up three times, and the "no current context" error comes up once. I fixed the resource fork one following a previous post that said to remove .aex versions of plugins (of which I had three), as they are apparently for PCs only. Some of the Video Copilot plugins install these alongside the .plugin versions, but it's not only a Video Copilot issue. I haven't noticed that removing the .aex stopping anything working (which is they are indeed Windows only would make sense).
