After effects 18.4.1 Crashing on startup after updating to (macOS Monterey)

Hello, I have recently updated my Macbook m1 to the macOS monterey after that the after effects 14.0.1 starts crashing on the startup but at the same time all the other adobe apps are working just fine,

yes just found the solution 😉

i search on older issues and found this one

Go to the following location and remove all the files and folders (except dummy.txt): HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plugins/7.0/MediaCore

 

for me it was an AE juice plugin 

works now perfect 

hope this is also for you a solution

same issue here ;( all the rest from the suite is working only my main working progam AE is crashing on startup.

already deleted prefs and reinstalled it but no s6. please adobe help soon

BTW mine is on MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018) not on M1
