After Effects 18.4+ slow to save?

I recently upgraded to 18.4, then 18.4.1, both are exhibiting really slow save times... takes a good few seconds to save, whereas before it was virtually instant

Any fix/known issue?

(2020 iMac 17", 128GB Ram... was perfect before the 18.4 update)
