After Effects 2019 Unresponsive

Hey Friends,

After a recent update, my AE has been unresponsive in the following actions:

1.) Importing Clips: When I try to drag a clip (any type) into my Project Browser, it won't show. However, if I double-click the Project Browser and select the clip using the file browser, it works that way.

2.) Making Clips Visible / Invisible: When I click the 'Eye' symbol on a layer, the element does not appear or disappear until I move the playhead.

Things I have tried:

- Uninstalling / Re-installing After Effects 2019

- Purging Cache + Memory

- System Update (I'm working on a Mac Mojave 10.14.2)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Thanks for posting in the After Effects community.

    Your issue seems odd and rather unexpected.

    After a recent update

    Can you check the exact version of After Effects and let us know? FAQ: How to find the exact version of After Effects you're using?

    Have you customized your workspace?

    Can you try switching the workspace and see if that helps?

    Hi Rameez,

    I'm working on After Effects 16.0.1.

    I have indeed customized my workspace but I'm tried switching it back and I still have the same problem.
