After Effects 2020 blocking all project files with saber plugin.

Hey community, 

I need some help here! I have a bunch of old project files that I use for text based animation as a jump off point for new projects. Some of them have the saber plugin effect from Video Copilot. All former AE updates worked fine until AE 2020. 

I moved the plugin to the trash. But I keep receiving error message (48::72) AE error: Couln't find main entry point for Saber.plugin  ( 48:: 72). I received this error message and many others before I removed thee plugin. It also, no longer opens in 2019 or other past updates.

This means I cannot open the project files at ALL. Please help.
