After Effects 2021 gives me an error message every time i open

I bought a new laptop (https://www.elgiganten.dk/product/pc-tablets/barbar-computer/windows-barbar-computer/167026/huawei-matebook-x-pro-2020-barbar-computer-gra) and since, I've installed the creative cloud with my usual apps, including ae, but gives me an error message every time I attempt to launch.

Also, if I attempt to open a project file directly from a folder in my local drive, AE opens with no error message however -- sounds promising -- but it doesn't display the composition!

I have a report but it is a .dmp file which I can't attach to this message and also can not open. 

Solutions I have tried:

- reinstalling after effects

- updating drivers

- updating windows

- renaming folder in the local drive  (as recommended on a youtube video)

Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated!
