After Effects 2022 Really slow to preview.

I'm running an RTX 3080, 32GB RAM, intel 10700KF, and a 1TB M.2 SSD.
I'm trying to edit a 26 minute video I screen recorded. It's 1440 (2560x1440).

Preview is moving at about 1 second every 3 seconds and then once it gets to about 2.25 minutes, the green line clears all progress starts over where it's at. This process repeats every 2.25 minutes for the entire thing.

I've got "Cache before Playback" enabled, 30 fps, reesolution @ a quarter.
Is this a caching issue? I've cleared c$\user\AppData\Local\Temp, and rebooted.

Task manager reports 83% Memory usage, and GPU reports spikes from 30% - 70% consistently.

It's been a while since I used AE, and this is my first time using it on this machine. I don't remember it being this slow, but I don't think I was trying to edit this resolution or length before either. Given my variables, is this expected performance?

Of note: I used OBS Studio to record, then converted it to MP4 via VLC before importing into AE.

Tips?

I believe I am using the wrong software. Going to go check out Premiere Pro.

For me a better solution is turn off enable multi-frame rendering, but the old after effects is better to work!

Same issue. Running on Win11. Memory within seconds at limit. Preview is always slowing down everything. Warp Stabilizer crashes or creates broken videos.

Same problem here.

Windows 11 + After Effects 2022 worst setup I guess. Really slow...
