The error message that I get when I open After Effects v22.01 is the following:
After Effects can't continue: The Common Extensibility Platform (CEP) suite couldn't be loaded. You may need to reinstall.
I purchased a brand new Macbook Pro 16" M1 Max and while migrating all my apps to the new MacBook it migrated my Adobe apps. When I tried to open After Effects it gave me the above message. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times. I have used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner to remove all Adobe's apps and reinstalled and still the same problem but only with After Effects. Other apps open fine. I have checked on the permissions in Security & Privasy under preferences. I have allowed read and write permissions to all folders and subfolders in the applications folder. I have installed the previous version and it still doesn't open and then I updated from the previous version to the most recent, still nothing. I tell it not to migrate previous preferences.
Has anyone encountered this problem recently on the new Apple products or know any other possible solutions?
