after effects 2023 not working with 16000 khz mp4 files no sound

Convert them in Audition. No point in making a whole song and dance about this. AE will simply not use them natively.

MP4 is not a production audio format. Convert them to WAV files. The minimum video standard is 16 Bit 48 kHz. MP4 files can be just about anything and they are highly compressed making decoding and encoding on a frame by frame basis problematic.

Video mp4 with with 16000 khz soound sent to me by client,no sound in time lime.
