After Effects 2024 on Mac Sonoma keeps crashing

While working on a project, After Effects has crashed about 7 or 8 times between yesterday and today. I cannot pin point what I'm doing when it happens. Some of the time I am moving text around, others its adjustuing keyframes. I have started in Safe Mode, I have started with any plug-ins and nothing has worked. Every option I try, it keeps crashing.

The alert when it crashes says this:

I have no idea how to fix this. The only third-party plug-in I use is CompSetter.

I'm working on a macOS Sonoma 14.2.1, year 2020

Processor:  3.8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7

Graphics:  AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8 GB

Memory: 32GB

If anyone has any insight as to what I can do, I would be so greatful! I use After Effects every day for my job and we do not have IT for Macs.

Thanks!

Please DM me the email ID so we can find the crash report on our end.

In the meantime, please test if it's happening with a specific project or all of them. Also, you can try running After Effects in Safe Mode.

Looking forward to your response.

Note: Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Thanks,

I am having the same issue.  All projects.  It's been a nightmare to deliver work.

Yes I did. But I have not heard anything. Should I have by now?

Are you submitting these crashes — including your email address — with the Crash Reporter dialog that appears?
