After Effects 22.5.0 Simple Copy Paste of Text in Clipboard will not work

The simple task of copy paste of text from the clip board will not work in After Effects 22.5.0 Build No. 53
I'm copying text from an Adobe .PDF with no issues pasting in a simple text document, so I know the text exists within the clipboard however, After Effects does not wish to see it. 
Any suggestions to the community would be extremely helpful in this matter.

There was a bug a while back for clipboard text, but it's been fixed.  You say you can paste the text from this PDF into a simple text document, what happens if you copy the text from that document and paste it into AE.

Unfortunately, I tried to replicate this and its working fine for me.
