AFTER EFFECTS 23 ERROR

I'm attempting a straight-forward greenscreen composite. I have 1080p 29.97 Apple ProRess 422 footage. Running AE 23 on a PC with Windows 10, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 card with 128g of RAM.  At first the render was taking FOREVER. Like 60-plus hours.  Now, I get the following error:

"after effects error running of the ai model failed. This is probably due to insufficient amount of RAM or VRAM"

I feel like my system, is plenty beefy enough to handle this task. No other effects applied except Keylight and Lumetri.

I hear V23 is very buggy. Any thoughts?

I have tried several related solutions. Diferent render codecs. Different source video codecs. My Nvidia Driver was up-to-date, but I just rolle dit back based on an Adobe article.

The most interesting thing is this -- I opened AE 22 and brought in the excact same ProRes source file. Applied Keylight and the render FLIES.  What took more than 60 hours in AE 23 took just over an hour in AE 22!!! Same machine. Same files.

How can that be?

That's not ideal. Do you mind sharing the media file with us for testing? Also, can you try running After Effects 23 in Safe Mode and see if that brings any change?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Nishu

Would you choose other formats for rendering to compare with Proress format? You also update your graphic card driver.
