after effects 24.0 won't start after crashes

after every crash, this warning would show and I can't start the program again.

I'm going to assume you're trying to run AE on MacOS 14/Sonoma? If so, please follow the steps here to confirm your permissions are set correctly.

There are issues in MacOS 14 that are causing some of the key preferences folders to have their permissions reset unexpectedly.
