After Effects 26.2 out of memory

AE 2026.2  Very similar problem happening on my end. So far,  I’ve only figured out that the bug is that the GPU memory on my card is not getting released, so it eventually crashes everything, and only releases the memory when the app closes.  (I just posted on this as well, if it’s still coming up for you). 

Unfortunately, while I can limp along with multiple image sequence renders, this is a total deal-breaker for me to actually use this for work until it gets solved.

    1. What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?
    2. When exactly do you get the error? Is there a specific action/command that triggers the issue?
    3. Is it happening in a specific project, or is it affecting all projects?
    4. Are there any third-party plug-ins installed?
