After Effects 26.x on Windows on ARM (ARM64), enable emulation

I’m running different version of AE on Windows on a macbook pro M1 using Parallels Desktop to test our plugins/scripts

Before AE 26, After Effects was running in emulation mode.
With AE 26.x, it’s running natively on ARM.

Is there a way to enable the emulation so I can test x64 version of our plugin?

Cheers
Val

As far as Adobe has shared, AE 26.x on Windows ARM does not provide an option to force x64 emulation once a native ARM build is available. When AE detects ARM, it always runs natively, so x64 plugins will not load. For testing x64 plugins, the only practical option right now is to install an older AE version that still runs under emulation, or test on a true x64 Windows system. This seems to be a current limitation rather than a configurable setting.
