After Effects and Character Animator 2018

I've just updated my software.

Previously I used to export PNG files/XML files within character animator. Then in After Effects I would go to file - scripts - import from character animator

So those options are no longer available in After Effects....

how do I go about it now?

Thanks.

The only way I have been able to do this since upgrading to CC 2018 is to drag the scene from the Project panel in Character Animator into the Project panel in After Effects

I'll have a go! Thank you.

OK, successfully managed to get one animation in there. Created the other, dragged it in and AE has decided to freeze. Struggling to get anything done

I'm having similar problems.  I get spinning pin wheel, even when I drag a scene to Ae

    I'll try WAV and PNG....

Just to add to this, I am trying to export from Character Animator as an MP4 file, but Media Encoder hangs!

Is there any way to revert back to the older software? Just until I get these 12 cartoons out and then I can learn to use the 2018 version...

Can you copy the script over from the older AE install?

I am doing a new composition. I make short cartoons.

Do I need to export from Character Animator in a different way now?
