After Effects and Red giant

Hey guys I create vfx for music videos and red giant has really been acting up on me. When I try too use it the vfx nothing appears and the sometimes they do. I have notice I dont have any issues until I try to apply them too a rotobrush.

Rotobrush is a very RAM heavy tool and I'm not surprised it's causing confusion with Red Giant's effects. Could you try either precomposing the roto-ed footage? Or it might be safer to simply render out that footage then bring it back into AE to add the RG effects.
