After Effects (any version) running really slow in windows 10

Hey so ive recently updated my pc to windows 10 and since then my after effects runs really slowly like the program itself has low fps idk how to explain that.

Before windows 10 i had windows 8 and never had problems with it. Just on windows 10.

Im thankful for any kind of help

You ma;y want to try cleaning your scratch disks.

At the top of the interface go to Edit/Preferences/Media and disk cache and use the options to clean the cache.

Then shut down and re-start AE.
