After Effects Audio Output Mapping not working on the Right

Question

The whole day I have issues with the Audio while previewing my videos. The Audio is only playing on the left speaker on my computer and on my earphones as well. When I try to Assign the right speaker and click OK, nothing happens, the speaker stays empty again.

I already reset my computer and after effects as well but not success 😕😕

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
