What workaround did you use?  It might be helpful for others struggling and might help us figure out the original issue

I exported as a alpha file from Character animator, however when it was in AE I wasn't able to review the tracking .When I pressed play the viewer browser went black. The only way i could tell if it was alighened properly was by scrubbing.
