After Effects black screen when expanding full window

Hi,

Whenever i expand my after effects to full screen, it turns black..

When i minimize the window/make it smaller, what im working on appears.

anyone know how to fix this?

i am using after effects version 24.5 and OS is Windows 11 version 23H2
