After Effects CC 2018 is suddenly extremely slow. It take more than 15 sec after i type some text for it to appear on screen.

So i was working on a project with 4k footage and some 3D elements, At one point it started to get really slow, so i rebooted AE but it was the same, still slow. So i decided to open a new project, and surprise, in the new project with nothing in it it's still simply unresponsive. I reboot my computer, open another new project, same stuff. I updated my video driver, moved the disk cache (ae was telling me the disk hadn't enough space for the disk cache, so i moved it from my C drive (SSD) to another ssd on my computer. Still nothing changed, AE is unusable. I have a deadline for my project, so i'm starting to get scared i won't be able to finish due to this, I guess the next step is to reinstall, but i'm afraid that will broke my project or something (the project is dynamic linked with the premiere pro project) 

P.S.: another thing on premiere, somethimes it also crap out and the playhead doesnt follow my mouse or the play button doesn't change to the stop button when clicked and other stuff like that. And the only way to make it work again is to put premiere in windowed mode instead of full screen.
