After Effects - CC Repetile & Drop shadow - changing position of the object makes it glitch

Hi! I'm having this problem with the CC Repetile effect and changing the position of it. 

The idea is to get the CC Repetile effect on a textblock, with drop shadow so I can adjust the space between the words. The problem is that I want the text to move sideways, so I've just changed the position sideways, but the textblock is hacky/glitchy/don't know the exact word here. 

Is there something I'm missing or is it just the way it goes with the CC Repetile effect? Thanks!
