After Effects closing after switching to chrome window

Hello,

Recently when I am making a edit on Ae and switch to google chrome to see my tutorial ae closes without any error notification. Every 10 or so times I switch it crashes the software. It also crashes with a memory error when I go into a pre comp layer. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Here are my pc specs:

Intel Core i5 12400

Rtx 3060

16 GB DDR5 Ram

512 Gb SSD

Correct answer nishu_kush

When it crashes there is no error that I see. It just closes. Here is GPU's Driver Version

Thanks for sharing the screenshot, An28710749opic.

A few users have reported issues with the latest Game Ready driver. Do you mind installing the latest Studio driver and see if that helps?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Nishu

It's 4400 MHz and after effects usally takes about 70% of the memory

Thanks for the details.

Do you mind sharing a screenshot of the error that you see? Also, what's the GPU driver's version installed on your computer?

We're here to help.

Thanks,

Nishu

You launch Task Manager app and check how much of the physical memory your PC consumes. It would be also good to upgrade the graphic card driver.
