After Effects Closing Immediately on Launch

Question

Hi, I'm having an issue with After Effects closing immediately while launching. Sometimes it will open the program for literally a second or two before closing again. There are no error messages, or any other indicators of what's wrong.

I've found the crash log, and it mentions "[1324] dvacrashhandler thread (Crash Occured on Different Thread)" in one of the threads as the issue.

I'll attach the crash log for convenience.

I've updated, uninstalled, re-installed drivers; uninstalled and reinstalled AFX and the CC launcher; I've tried deleting the preferences using SHIFT + ALT + CTRL when opening; I've also tried rolling back to a previous version, and am currently trying that again, rolling back further.

It was working fine literally just yesterday, and today it won't launch.
For reference, Photoshop launches fine from the CC launcher.

Your graphics driver or at least a part of the NVidia libraries is leaking. The crash occurs because of a security violation in those libraries. You may need to reinstall the driver/ install a different version. If you messed with its settings e.g. before playing a game you may need to reinstate the previous configuration.
