After Effects composition display error

I recently purchased a Expaliner video template...but when import file to my composition i keep getting gamma color boxes with image names instead of the correct imageimage see attached

    I would suggest you follow the template creator's instructions exactly and read up on how to replace/ relink files in AE in case you placed them into a different location than intended. there's realyl nothing more to it than that. Brush up on the basics!

    Those are color bars. They mean missing footage. Not knowing they are color bars and not knowing they are indicators of missing footage tells me you are pretty new to video production and After Effects.

    You should see the same thing in your project panel. You need to relink the footage. If the template came with footage you need to put it in the right folder. The project panel will show you which folder that would be if you expand the panel using the tilde key.
