After Effects crash while working

i load up after effects to edit but about a minute after i load it up and begin editing it jus closes itself and crashes and i cant make any progress as there isnt even enough time to render the edit before it crashes

Sorry for the crash.

How much RAM is installed on your machine? Are there any third-party plug-ins installed for After Effects? Also, do you get any error messages or crash report?

i have a ryzen 5 3600x and a 1660 super, my gpu drivers are also fully updated

Without even the most basic system info nobody can tell you anything. Start by updating your graphics driver and check the hardware acceleration preferences.
