After Effects crashes a lot whilst sending to Media Encoder

Using all up to date software on a 2013 Macbookpro retina After Effects crashes whilst sending to Media Encoder..

It seems the same thing was happening a while back, but an update appeared to fix it.. but the situation returned.

It is needless to say annoying if you forget it is a likelyhood and go to export to media encoder without saving first. Note to self, always save first.

Is anyone having the same issue / got any solutions?

    Sams, you might try updating both applications if you have not already done so.
