After Effects Crashing

I'm very new to after effects as i just downloaded the free trial yesterday. It simply just keeps crashing and i really wanna work on a project that i started already but it just wont load and it'll be a "not responding" message popping up. I've reinstalled so many times..do you think buying it would fix? I really dont know whats wrong and its a simple thing but i've yet to find a solution that helps. Thank you

 

More details:

- it started to crash a day after using

- it began in the middle of a project and now i just cant open it up without problems

 

What I've done: 

- reinstalled

- creative clouds cleaner

- GPU is updated

- ran as adnministrator

Hi there,

 

How do you launch After Effects? Do you double-click on the project file or you click the After Effects to open it? What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS)?

In the meantime, try resetting the preferences of After Effects: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-after-effects/td-p/10634342

Sorry, but that's useless. You have not provided any shred of system info nor any actual crash details.

What info do you need? I dont know what to provide since the whole situation is confusing. The program just wouldnt let me do anything everytime i open, it just freezed and message pops up saying its not responding, forcing me to close it.
