Question

After Effects crashing all the time.

My After Effects is crashing all the time, I click to edit a text and It crashes. I try to open the file again and it crashes abou 10 or 20 times before i can open it again. It's not even a complex project, just simple things with text. Can anyone help me? These are my laptop configs:

AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti
RAM 32,0 GB

Would you also reset your preferences?

Where can I find this ID?

It's the same email id that you use to sign in into Adobe Creative Cloud. You need to provide that email id to the crash reporter when you see it. The crash reporter should appear after the crash.

Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Thanks,
Nishu

Hello @Enlightened_Fountain5EC9

When AE crashes, you should get a crash reporter dialog that you can use to send the crash logs to Adobe. Please let us know your Adobe UserID and we will be able to pull up your crash report for investigation.

Thanks.

After Effects QE.

Hello @Enlightened_Fountain5EC9,

Thanks for the message. Try clean installing the NVIDIA studio driver version 472.12 or later. That is in the system requirements. I hope the advice helps. Let us know!

Thanks,
Kevin
