after effects crashing during export

Usually I use media encoder to export my projects but as of recently it never works, so when I send my projects to media encoder it almost immediately fails. So I've been using render queue for the past two projects I needed to export and they worked with some difficulties. Although this time, everytime that I try to export my project, it starts off pretty fast but then it always crashes. My after effects is up to date and I need to get this exported by today. Any suggestions on how to sove my issue? thanks!

Where is your After Effects project file saved? Can you change that to a different location?

If it's saved on an external or network drive, I'd suggest that you save it to the intenal drive. You can also try renaming the project file and see if that works.

Thanks,

Rameez

It was saved onto my desktop, but I figured out a way that I can work with. Thanks for youre help, you were very kind.

Hi Ninjadude1,

Sorry for your issue.

Which version of After Effects and AME are you using? https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/faq-how-to-find-the-exact-version-of-after-effects-you-re-using/td-p/9972137

Which format are you exporting to? Do you get any error messages?

I'd suggest that you try exporting to a mezzanine codec like QuickTime or GoPro Cineform and see if that works.

Thanks,

Rameez

Hey Rameez,

For after effects i am using version 17.0.1 (bulid 52) and for AME i am using version 14.0 (Bulid 556). When I export, I export to to a quicktime file and when it fails I get this error message:
