After Effects crashing on start up

hi,

whenever i open after effects , it shows this error and crashes.

 

can someone please help

Without any system information and other details we can't realyl tell you why or how there may have been an issue. the error simply suggests an initialization error with the interface, which could be anything from the preferences having been damaged to issues with hardware acceleration or a specific extension/ script.

i formatted my system and installed After effects from creative cloud in Windows11 Home

first i installed after effects 2021 and 2020 but it didn't worked as it was crashing on startup but once i installed the recetly released version of after effects it worked.

i didn't installed any plugin or script but it was still crashing

my system config is i9 10900k @3.70 Ghz

RAM 32 GB

2070 super gfx card 500Gb of hard disk in which 350 gb is free

any more info you need?

i installed the latest after effects version 22.6 and it fixes the issue but i don't understand why there was an error earlier.
