After Effects download not working

I've just bought After Effects and downloaded the installer on to a Mac Book Air M2.

When I double click the installer - it comes up with a disk image but doesn't do anything / install.

I've tried several times, including a complete hard re-boot and nothing!

You need to install the Creative Cloud app first. What you have there looks seriously fishy, TBH.

    Thank you so much - my silly mistake for trying to rush the install because my 10 yo (!!) nagging me to get it done!

    Working now..
