After Effects & Encoder: OpenCL vs. Metal

Olá,

Tenho utilizado a versão 2017.1 (14.1.0.57) do After Effects e feito o render através do Media Encoder (versão 2017.0.2) em um MacBook Pro 2013.

Minha pergunta é: Qual seria a diferença entre as opções existentes na seção renderizador? Mercury (Metal), Mercury (OpenCL) e somente Mercury.

Qual dessas opções tem o melhor desempenho para uma exportação mais rápida?

Alguém pode me ajudar quanto a isso?

Open CL and Metal are two different ways of utilizing the GPU to accelerate effects. In general, OpenCL works better in the current versions, but I know the teams at Adobe are still working on getting things optimized for Metal.
