keep getting the After effects alert saying  Couldn't find main entry point for Camera Raw.plugin (48 :: 72)  I click okay and I get another After effects alert saying Unbalanced unprep (48 :: 30 ). I can't start after effects. After Effects V 17.1.3 reverted back from After Effects V 17.5 (this problem started with the update to 17.5) Mac OS High Sierra Version 10.13.3

Hi Clay5FC4,

tmoles10 is right. Downgrading Camera Raw should fix this problem. More info here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/faq-how-to-solve-after-effects-v-17-5-crash-at-launch/m-p/11522545?page=1#M152712

Thanks,

I started having the same problemm this morning. Was able to resolve it by re-installing the Camera Raw plug in (v12.2.1) available to download here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html#13_x

Be sure to delete your AE preferences when re-launching for the first time after reinstalling Camera Raw.
