In addition to what @Mylenium has said, share a screenshot or screen recording so we can understand the issue better. In some cases, GPU drivers can cause such issues so you can try re-installing it and see if it helps with After Effects.

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. You can try the following steps:

Launch After Effects as administrator (right click on After Effects in start menu and select Run as administrator).
Reset the preferences of After Effects. https://helpx.adobe.com/in/after-effects/using/preferences.html#reset_prefs
Create a new user account in your computer with admin right and then check the issue.
