After Effects error: Display view color space not valid. ( 5027 :: 304 )

I get this error. No clue on how to solve it.

    Hi Jaydude,


    Thanks for writing in. Could you share more details? When exactly do you get the error? Is there any action/command that triggers the issue? Are you on Mac or Windows? Is it happening with multiple projects? It could be a color managment related issue.

    A few things you can try:

    • Go to File > Project Settings > Color and try setting Working Space to “None”

    • Check View > Use Display Color Management and toggle it on/off

    • If you’re using ACES/OCIO, try switching to a standard profile (like sRGB/Rec.709)

    • Restart AE after making changes to ensure settings are applied
