after effects error: internal verification failure

I think I have found the solution! download the plugin the same version as After Effects you are on.

Yes, remove all plugins you have installed. Then add them one by one and check which one is causing the issue.

this seems to be related to plug-in compatibility to the new parallel processing feature in AE. perhaps you should update to the latest AE version, or find out which plug-in is causing this error.
