After Effects error: This effect cannot be applied because it cannot be initialized ( 25::3)

Hey guys, Im trying to use the " track Camera" option but it keep telling me "After Effects error: This effect cannot be applied because it cannot be initialized. Try reinstalling or contacting the plug-in developer.        (25 :: 3)"

 Im not sure what to do.

does anyone know how to fix this issue?

      As Mylenium said, we'd need more details in order to troubleshoot the issue properly.

      • What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?
      • What's the exact version of After Effects you're using?
      • Does it happen with all the projects? Could you test in a new project with different footage?

      I am having this issue as well with the Plugin Deep Glow i have a 17-6700k AMD radeon 550X series 16gm ram and im using after effects 2023 and i used to use deep glow perfectly fine and out of no where this happens i even factory resetted my pc reinstalled everything nothing has worked

          Without any system info, details about your project and other specifics we cannot tell you much. Start by reinstalling AE with sufficient user privileges. Anything else will require much more details.

          Hi! 

          I am facing the same problem of: error in after effects: this effect cannot be applied because it cannot be initialized. 25::3 when I try to use the copilot video orb plugin. The problem happens every time I try to apply the plugin to any type of object. My PC is a 3rd generation Intel i7, 16 GB of ram. You currently do not have a video card.
