After Effects Essential Graphic Media Replacement with Video and Rasterization render issues

Hey all!

I'm working on a screen film that takes place through zoom windows, each of the zoom states (2Up, 3Up, 4Up, etc.) are built with illustrator files that are precomped in AE with essential property created for each, as they're reused through each reel of the film, and jumped between. All the properties are pushed up to the master comp for the sequence where I'm able to animate the various UI elements, and also insert the live action footage via media replacements in the master property. The issue I'm coming across is rasterizing the composition/collapsing transforms. When I do this in AE, everything appears to be working properly, the footage plays through in the correct media replacement spots and the rasterizing looks excellent and clear, but on render, the footage that is being used to in the media replacement starts stuttering and repeating itsself through the sequence.

Is this a bug, or am I pushing the essential properties past what they are meant for in terms of them being more used for Premiere Mogrt?

The only solution I've been able to come up with is duplicating the comp, masking the live action footage, and turning continous raster off it, while allowing the rasterized one to be below it, but there's instances where speaker names, mute icons, etc. appear over video so this is not ideal.

Any help or ideas for solutions would be amazing! Thank you!

Yeah, probably som limitation/ bug in EG and the media replacement in particular. Likely something to do with how it calculates the fitting/ positioning in EG and then things go *kaboom* with thge slightest discrepancies.
