After Effects Freezes and Reboots Computer

My After Effects (23.6) on my MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2019 (2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB, 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4) with macOS Ventura 13.5.1 freezes. I have had this problem for about 2 months. I have not seen any consistent pattern as to why the freeze happens. It even freezes sometimes when I create a new comp within a new file that is empty. Sometimes I can work for 3 hours, then it freezes. When it freezes, I can't move the cursor anymore, and after ca. 2 minutes of freeze, my MacBook crashes and reboots. Things I've already tried:

- Reboot

- Empty Cache

- Remove all scripts and plugins

- Uninstalling / Reinstalling

- Working in "Safe Mode"

- Installing Previous Versions (23.0, 23.1, 23.2, 23.4, 23.5, 23.6)

- Bought an external SSD so I can safe the cache there

- Created a new user on the Macbook to test if the problem persists.

- Resetting MacBook to factory settings

Nothing helped. Problem is still here. I don't know what more I can do. I am desperate for help. Please help me.

Disabling "Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, And Footage Panels" solved the problem for me. No more crashes.

I tried so many things and the solution was to remove one ticked box. LOL. Whatever, I'm happy now that I can work without problems again.

When your Macbook crashes and restarts, do you get the Apple dialog that provides more information about the crash? This sounds like a hardware issue based on what you've shared, but that dialog might have more information.
