After Effects Freezing On Start Up Screen

For the past week, I have been having issues with After Effects opening up.  It gets stuck on the splash screen and then stops responding after it Initializes Audio Devices.  I’ve always had issues with this program, but usually one of the usual tricks would get it working.  Downgrading to an earlier version, using the clean up tool (that doesn’t actually clean up everything), running as administrator, running with windows 8 compatibility, updating to the new drivers, downgrading to past drivers. 

I manually deleted every trace of adobe from my computer, and only then did it work briefly a few days ago.  However, I have not been able to get it working since.  I repeated the same steps I took the first time, but nothing.  And now I’ve been troubleshooting for the past 5-6 hours because I have a project I need to work on.

I’ve tried all of the versions that are currently available on the creative cloud.  The only one that I got working, briefly, was version 26.0.  I’m on Windows 10, have a 2070 Super, 32 GBs of Ram.
