After Effects | Incrementing Property Values with up|down arrow not working
So, this is a little strange.
I'm no longer able to adjust property values in effects control panel or the timeline panel in After Effects using the up|down arrow keys, however the up|down arrows still function properly in the character panel and the paragraph panel.
I am able to utilize up|down arrow in the other official hotkeys at the link below, such as selecting the previous layer in stacking order (timeline), as well as adjusting the position of a layer in the composition along the Y axis manually.
Official After Effects Shortcuts: https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/keyboard-shortcuts-reference.html. Upon viewing this documentation I realized that there is no official record of up|down arrow as a hotkey for incrementing property values by 1. Has this been removed?
I also checked my keyboard shortcuts and was unable to find a way to remapp this.
This issue is present across all three of my machines. I have reinstalled creative cloud, as well as rolled back AE. The issue still persists. Other Adobe Products (Photoshop/Illustrator/Audition) are working just fine.
**This is especially annoying, since I must now re-type property values each time I wish to adjust an effect/control. I can use .math(), but I still must escape the field before adobe will update the layer's property.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to remap this function in After Effects?
