After Effects just crash my entire PC when I keep any another professional software open

Hello guys.
I'm a 3D Artist who works with C4D, Redshift and After Effects mainly.
Always when I'm working with C4D or Photoshop or Illustrator and needs to work in After Effects simultaneously, my pc freezes and reboot. Even if I'm just checking a mp4 viewport render from C4D inside AE. It just freezes for almost one minute and after that my PC just reebot.
I've tried with a lot of AE versions between 18.4.6 and the most recent 22.4.

Anyone has some problem similar?

My setup is a AMD Threadripper 1920x, 64gb 3200mhz. Nvidia RTX 2080 + 3080TI

Welcome to the community.

As ToolfarmJP suggested, try using After Effects with one of the GPUs. Also, please make sure that the GPU drivers are updated to the latest.

How can I setup the AE to use only one card?
I've already setup the C4D to use only the 3080ti while I'm working and leave the 2080 (monitor/system GPU) free.
I'm already working with the latest Nvidia drivers. And I'm having this problem for a long time

I would assume the cause is due to your dual graphic cards. I do not think After Effects supports the dual cards.

Having all of those apps open might be challenging even for your awesome machine. If it's possible to not have them open at once I think that it would be helpful.

@RobShultzI don't use all of them together. PS + AE, AI + AE, C4D + AE.
For example when I use C4D, without any project opened, and AE with just a MP4, the AE crashes everything.
