After Effects keeps getting stuck

Hi guys !

Since a few versions, AE keeps getting stuck while I'm working, even with light projects...
I'm working, then suddendly, AE freezes for a few seconds (a minute sometimes), then works pretty well, and freezes again, etc... It's a bit annoying and I'm losing precious time !

AE is the only Adobe Software presenting these symptoms on my computer.

I bought a new PC, partly because of this, so you could understand I'm a bit disappointed ^^

If you have an idea on why this is happening, I'm all ears

configuration :

AMD Threadripper 3960X
Nvidia 3090 FE
128gb RAM

OS and Projects on separate NVME M.2
Cache on a SSD
Working with two 4K monitors, I don't know if this is relevant
