after effects keeps removing my effects from premier
hello Adobe community,
so I'm trying to export two files from my Premier timeline to after effects in order to animate them. the files are the same file which has a spinning knife, the spinning which I shot in camera with dragon frame. the knives have been placed on either side of an object and I need to animate them so that they fly down through the object. so I had to transform one of the files in premiere so that it mirrors the original file.
my issue is every time I try to export these files into after effects to animate them, it removes the effects, like the vertical mirroring, that I did in premiere so that one of the knives is just in a completely different position and even if I move it back into the correct position in after effects, it's also removed my fade in and fade out from the file. so basically what I'm saying is it removes all of the effects that I've put on the file in premiere. but only to the knife that I've mirrored.
obviously this is a really crappy outcome and I would much prefer doing the animation portion for this in after effects versus Premier because I get to control my ease ins and ease outs of the movement that I would like to do. is anyone else have this issue and can anyone help me and figuring out?
I know it's probably like a really stupid fix that I should probably know how to do already but please help me 🥺
cheers,
