After Effects layer attributes not copying?

I am trying to copy the keyframes from one layer to another. I select the layer, select the keyframes I want to copy (Anchor Point & Position), go to Edit -> Copy, select the different layer, and do Edit -> Paste. I then check the comp box on the layer. When I hit play, the text I want animated stays still as if there are no transformations applied to it.

I have tried updating my application, restarting my computer, reverting to previous versions. I have tried every combination of copy and paste.

Weird thing is, the exact same method I was using to copy attributes to different layers was working fine until I tried to paste into several selected layers at once. Then everything broke.

Help!

When you select the other layer, you can't just paste directly on the layer itself, you have to select "position" in order to copy positional values. Same for anchor point and any other attribute.
