After effects not opening a specific project (others open fine)

Hi all,

I was busy editing a project using dynamic links from After Effects 18.4.1 to and from Premier Pro 15.4.1.

Im not sure what is causing it, but I think I may have created a circuler refrence.

Steps:

Premier pro sequence (PPS) A refrenced by PPS B
PPS B dynamic linked to After Effects Sequence (AES) C
(possible) AES B refrences PPS B (accidental, should have been PPS A, the sequence before I added the AES graphics)
Strange issues (playhead lag, not rendering previews)
Delete cache to fix
Crash

What's strange is that I can't open my backups either. Even opeing autosaves from before I made the refrence cause AE to hang (and display a drop shadow without a GUI box, see the attachment). Premier pro is unnefected but linked AES are offline. I can open other projects without issues.

I have deleted the cache and my prefrences, restarted AE and PP: no luck. I would very much aprreciate any ideas or help.

also, another solution, sometimes the font cause issue opening some project, so try to backup your fonts and remove all the third-party fonts or if you know the fonts you use in your project try to remove them and check if you can open it again
